Omen in Litore — an Omen to the Shore

Charged air, a sky that holds its breath. Along this Nordic shoreline, MANÀ founder Ezgi Turksoy Hamilton photographed creative director and brand consultant Nikè van de Waal amidst the shifting elements that would come to shape this photographic story.
The clouds, the cold light, the wet sand — all of it became costume. Nikè moved through the landscape, working with the elements around her to create unexpected compositions, forms and spheres that feel ancient and instinctive at once, the same untamed quietness that defines MANÀ.
The repeated sequencing of images creates a cinematic rhythm, bringing movement and atmosphere into quiet dialogue. Part of a two-part photographic collaboration, Omen in Litore is guided by intuition whereMotus et Ordois shaped by rhythm; both unfold through movement as a language in its own right.
