Motus et Ordo — Movement and Pattern
in collaboration with Nikè van de Waal
A collaborative photographic story exploring movement as a language in itself. Through the lens of Ezgi Turksoy Hamilton, creative director Nikè van de Waal is portrayed as both subject and collaborator in a visual dialogue, where rhythm, structure and intuition unfold between the two creative worlds.
Nikè’s own garments, worn alongside pieces from MANÀ, transform according to how they are inhabited, contributing to a freedom of expression that moves from the smallest gesture to the fullest motion. The edit is intentional. Images are repeated and sequenced in rhythm, creating a contemporary visual language.
Motus et Ordo moves into the distinctive visual territory that defines Nikè van de Waal's work as a creative director, where structure, rhythm and editorial sensibility converge. Through movement, styling and image sequencing, the series becomes a meeting point between her visual language and that of MANÀ.
