JAPAN EDIT — TAKEAMI WOVEN BAMBOO IKEBANA VESSEL - BLACK

Japanese ikebana vessel in handwoven bamboo with a natural fibre tie detail at the rim, using the traditional takeami (竹編み) technique; an intricate method of interlacing bamboo strips to create both structure and openness.
The woven form allows light and air to pass through, creating a quiet interplay of shadow and space. Both functional and sculptural, it carries a grounded, natural presence within the arrangement.
We love this piece for the duality it holds; the interplay of structure and openness, containment (vessel) and air (void). It feels alive, not static.
